Lisinka is a child who lives in my soul.
Illustrator and painter from Rome, graduated in Decoration and Restoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Inspired by the Russian fairy tales of my mother from Ekaterinburg, my work blends traditional techniques with digital experimentation and has been exhibited in Italy and abroad.✦ Folk & Fairytales, Myth & Legend

La Bestia nel Bosco Addormentato

Una fiaba gotica. La storia d’amore impossibile tra un principe solitario e una fanciulla-lupo venuta dal bosco. Quindici tavole illustrate dialogano con un breve testo intenso e lirico. Riproduzioni da originali in grafite su carta e colorazione digitale.

Che prese in trappola un lupo
E se ne innamorò."
«Nasce dalle ombre di una natura soprannaturale e indifferente al destino umano, Mormolice. I canti che raccontano la sua storia non sono semplici filastrocche intonate da streghe di un tempo imprecisato, ma una celebrazione grottesca della parte più crudele delle fiabe e del mito dei lupi mutaforma».
«Qui non c’è alcun eroe: il principe è una figura maledetta scevro da ogni redenzione – incalza Lisinka – e non sarà un bacio a risvegliare la Bella addormentata». Piuttosto il lupo, «metafora del male, al completamento della trasformazione passa da carnefice a vittima, relegando la Bestia nella Bella». Svestitasi della pelliccia bestiale – esponendo una pelle di donna e sedotta da un universo differente dal suo – la Bella rivela un’altra sé: apprende il potere delle parole, cede alle regole umane e imita rituali delle buone maniere che il principe le indottrina.
